We are happy to share this remarkable story:

My husband and I recently purchased the home of a dear friend. With it came the unique opportunity to live in this mysterious tent she’d been talking about for years as we build out a new space of our own on the property.

We call it the White Palace. The tent came through the hands of a woman who lived in it for a full year in the mountains of New Mexico. Our friend has kept it safely stored for over 15 years awaiting the opportune time to set it up.

My husband and I have both come through a recovery of sorts. He is 8 years clean from addiction that left him financially ruined. I was in a ski accident and sustained a traumatic brain injury that also ruined my financial wherewithal. When we met in 2013, we were both building back; financially, personally and spiritually. The ability to repair our financial credit to the point of purchasing our first home mirrors the work we did interpersonally to be able to show up to the best relationship of our lives.

My husband is a psychologist and I am a social worker. We plan to utilize the tent space in a creative way when we move out of it. We hope to continue passing along the grace and healing we’ve both experienced over the years.

We are in absolute heaven living simply in the tent and again, are so incredibly grateful to do so under such majesty. Please know that Bill and his family’s work continues to be loved and respected in this small Utah town.
