Bill Moss and his team always had something interesting in the works. Once a funeral supply company from Philadelphia asked us to design a tent to provide rain and sun protection for family and friends at a gravesite. The requirements were that it be a simple shape, dark blue, and easy and quick to erect, and have one side for wind protection and the other side open to the view. During the design/prototype process, the team nicknamed the tent the "Mossolium." The company considered ordering at least fifty, but never purchased one. "Too fancy. Not the right respectful image," the president of the company said.
"Well, then, let's have a cocktail party in the prototype," Bill announced, which we did.
